Great product. Easy to use and implement. Started as finance tool and made it as enterprise tool at HortonWorks.
The standard connectivity is very good. Records and fields that are added in new Netsuite releases are released in the Boomi connector in 3-6 months.
All custom records and fields are available by default, which is pretty great.
The only thing that would enhance the experience is better error handling when the concurrency limit is reached. It could be a better cooperation between Boomi and Netsuite, then just 1 minute of non-stop errors in my opinion.
I just love working and using Boomi to integrate to any application in the ecosystem. I have yet to see Boomi not able to integrate with any application be it on premise or on cloud.
We use Boomi to move data between SFDC and NetSuite. It has proven to be very flexible and efficient with moving data between the 2 endpoints. We use cloud atoms and have not had any critical outages with the service.
Boomi is extremely simple and easy to use. Though it would be great if there is some online documentation available.
We currently use Boomi to integrate data into NetSuite from numerous systems seamlessly. We also take the data from NetSuite and other systems into our datawarehouse. Boomi has made it easy for a non-programmer to build complex integrations and automate business processes.
Jade Global is using Boomi internally for our Salesforce-Oracle Fusion applications. We have been able to easily connect the two for improved collaboration and data exchange. We are Boomi Implementation partner so it has been unique in that we are able to provide a success story of first-hand experience to our customers.
We have been using Boomi for our on-premise ERP data capture (master data and such) and so far, it has been proven to work and has not causing any production issue. The customer is happy with the integration!
A few years ago, Cornell's Student Services Information Technology (SSIT) team approached the Cornell Integration Competency Center with a request to collaborate with Netsuite on a project to rewrite and automate an old Campus Store textbook purchasing package. We're too busy implementing a new Private Atom Cloud (PAC) infrastructure and had to pass on the effort.
A little over a year later, our PAC was up and running, and out of the blue the campus store's back asking if we were open for business. We were and agreed to set up a new sub-account for the SSIT group. The next thing we knew, Netsuite was installing their Boomi solution into our PAC!
How unexpected, and how awesome!
I started from an integration platform perspective and found that it doesn't perform as expected.
But as Boomi states, I am from the dark side. If you need to make Boomi work, the best practice is to start from the scratch. Once you do that, you know that Boomi works exactly the same in terms of functionality and performance.
When working with large amounts of data never forget threading and document control.
It will help so much for our transactions.
Historically, I have used and consulted on many integration providers, and I have found the Boomi Integration platform to be one of the most flexible, scalable, and nimble middleware platforms on the market. Since it is light weight, it requires no IDE installation and can be managed entirely in the cloud. It's scalable in the sense that you can deploy atoms to any on-premise and cloud-based platform to allow for seamless data integrations between systems. Lastly, it provides a nimble way of configuring system integrations by suggesting pre-built integrations between popular systems. If you're looking for a quick way to hook up systems, Boomi can deliver without issue.
Using Boomi since 2015 and my experience so far with the Boomi Platform is great. It is easy to implement with low-code or node code.
Lots of out-of-the-box connection line NetSuite, Sales Force, Coups, AWS. I worked with many different systems and client and Boomi makes integration implementations easier and saleable.
Boomi could improve on sharing knowledge about their modules. Login error handling needs improvement.
A top end tool for this integration. It is always evolving. Boomi is not quite the click no code it offers (unless you have very basic implementations) but persistence with training, support, professional services, and you tube then you can have a very successful implementation. Take care with your data though, the tool will move your data so make sure its complete and accurate first (or use Boomi to validate it on the way). Boomi is heavily investing in the product so looking great for the long term.
We are in the process of replacing an in-house ERP system and Dell Boomi has been instrumental in making the transition smooth so far! It has allowed us to quickly setup API endpoints between our new ERP, HR, Routing, Fleet and other core systems, making the transition and mapping of data between XML and JSON very simple.
We use Dell Boomi to get NetSuite to talk to multiple systems both home grown and hosted. Dell Boomi has given us a great cloud-based solution to build and manage all our integrations. One of the best features is the drag and drop type visual workflow, which enables even non-coders to build complex integrations. This is a must needed tool to succeed when operating in the NetSuite universe.
Prior to implementing Boomi, we had a collection of tools and drivers that mostly/sorta got the job done. With Boomi, the mess of tools was easily consolidated to one centralized, easy to use platform.
We were able to leverage Boomi for our Salesforce.com to ERP transactions. What I like about this app is the untapped potentials in integrating our existing applications to create a seamless ecosystem in which data flow freely among disparate systems.
Dell Boomi has proven to be an integral part of our growing organization. Initially leveraged as an EDI translator, now a vital integration component across all of our platforms to ensure cross data flow to every system that needs it. Easy to map and easy to track.
Easy to use Reliable No Coding Involved
I picked up Boomi with no formal backend or integration experience. After going through their training/certification programs, I was able to start comfortably playing within the Boomi environment. Within 3 months, I'd say I was fully comfortable with Boomi and was able to start building more and more complex processes. Also, the support team is very helpful and will walk you through solutions/options for your processes.
We have been using Dell Boomi from last 3 years and we liked the way Boomi integrates with NetSuite, Databases and sftp ..etc. The product is very use to use for any integration between the systems.
I didn't know any about Boomi and had to implement EDI solution. It was easy to learn and the support and knowledge base has been helpful. We integrate it with NetSuite. It's a powerful tool.
We've been using Boomi for 2 years and it's provided a lot of value for us. We originally used it to integrate Demandware and NetSuite, but ended up using to replace all of our integrations. Our previous eCommerce site was developed in-house and the integration was also custom. Finally having control over our data integration from an operations perspective has been very valuable. Also, the process reporting feature is one of my favorites. I don't mind when an integration fails, I just mind if I don't know about it. Boomi gives us some very robust reporting and for example, we finally know that an order failed to sync before the customer calls in asking why their order didn't ship. We also used it for ad based product feeds, inventory feeds from vendors and automating business processes by pulling data out of NetSuite and then modifying or creating new transactions back in to NeSuite based off that data.
